phew, the holidays are winding down, but things are crazy here at Rocknrocks still: tons and tons of new products, computer issues, and orders oh my! We're working working working :)

We had our Holiday Party here at RocknRocks on Tuesday night, and it was fun fun fun. I'll post a few pictures just as soon as I have them on the computer!
We got a huuuuuuuge shipment in today, as it was finally released from customs in Alaska yesterday afternoon. With the holidays, things are going to be patchy in getting it online asap, but we're gonna do our best. I'm leaving tomorrow to be with my dad's family in Fort Worth until Christmas Eve, when I will come back here. Greg will be gone beginning Saturday until the Day after Christmas. I can picture things on Christmas Eve and will be here while Ruth Ann is gone until the Friday after Christmas, when I leave to stay with my best friend Aidan for New Years. Phew. We tried to plan our vacations around each other's plans (hence my weird broken-up vacation), and it gets a little crazy :)

Hi everyone ~ Caline here ~ Governors Square Mall contacted me to join in the festivities of hosting Island Princess Barbie last Friday night! I was completely excited at the opportunity to participate with the community on such a large level.
We made Island Princess Barbie bracelets. The colors were blue, pink, purple and green seed beads. We pre-made 100 little bracelets and to our excitement they were gone in 15 minutes! So excited at the turnout, Leah and I began stringing more. My husband Greg showed up to show his support and immediately we put him to work stringing seed beads. Everyone loved their bracelet. The little Princesses were so darling and it was a blessing for us to see their smiles as we passed out the bracelets!
We also passed out over 100 flyers on birthday parties. I am looking forward to booking many birthday parties this year! Give us a call at 931-245-6400 between 10am-6 pm, Tuesday-Saturday, to set up your party!
The mall has contacted us again. They are going to be hosting "THE HULK" in January. More details to follow.

Hi Everyone ~ Caline here ~ I wanted to let everyone know about RockNRocks' First Thursday ArtWalk participation and how it went. With the cold rainy weather, I am proud to say the evening was a success. We put out a few holiday cookies and warmed apple cider for the customers who came in. Andy Singletary was the featured artist. Andy has been buying from RockNRocks {internet and storefront} for many years. We also host some of his beautiful jewelry sets in our consignment case. Well, last night 4 of Andy's jewelry sets sold.

Most of the businesses on Franklin Street participate by hosting a local artist. The art ranges from Photography, Beading to Ceramics. It's a great time to get to know your Downtown!
